My brother loves noodles a lot and he can eat it at any time of the day. Unfortunately, I don’t like noodles much since I had eaten them a lot during my hostel days. He was the reason I tried to make this cutlet. It is different from the regular cutlet which we eat like aloo tikki or vegetable cutlet etc.b
This noodle cutlet is not made with potatoes and I have used gram flour instead of maida. As we know gram flour is a great source of protein which makes this recipe tasty as well as healthy too. This is an easy recipe and takes about 25 minutes to prepare.
It can be a great snack for Kids tiffin or any party. I have shallow fried these cutlets but you can also deep fry them. You can serve this with Ketchup or schezwan sauce or any other chutney of your choice.
Noodles cutlet | Easy snack recipes

- 1 medium size onion finely chopped
- 2 cheese cubes grated, processed or mozerella
- Red chilli powder to taste LalMirch
- Chaat masala to taste

- 2 tablespoons Gram Flour Besan
- ½ packet noodles boiled cooked without noodle masala

Boil green peas and sweet corn together for 10 to 15 mins or until they are soft strain them, let it cool down and then coarsely grind them in a mixer but not to make a thin paste. It should be like a loose dough.
In this mixture put finely chopped onions, grated cheese, all the above mentioned spices, salt, gram flour and mix properly.
Then add boiled noodles and mix gently, make sure that noodles don’t form into a paste.
Shape cutlets out from this mixture and roll them in the bread crumbs.
Heat oil in a non stick pan and shallow fry these cutlets, gently flipping both sides until cooked properly.
Enjoy with ketchup. Serve hot.
Recipe NotesBoil noodles only when your mixture to make cutlet is ready to avoid noodles to get dry. If you find your mixture a bit sticky then you can put some bread crumbs in the mixture also. You can also put boiled veggies of your choice to increase the nutritional value of the recipe.
